E-Vignette Subscription

Since August 1, 2023, the Swiss electronic toll sticker, also known as the e-vignette, has been available in digital format. With autoSense, you can now get the sticker as an annual subscription.

Redeem the e-toll sticker subscription now, starting from the 2025 sticker, for CHF 45.- per year. With the CHF 5.- subscription fee, you secure a worry-free, automatic, annual renewal of your sticker.

How does it work?

After you have successfully signed up for the subscription, we will redeem a digital toll sticker for you. This is automatically renewed annually by us. We redeem the sticker from the Federal Customs Administration and Border Security for you.

How is the e-vignette automatically renewed?

On December 1st, we automatically renew your vignette for the following year. In this process, we use the credit card you have deposited with our payment service provider, Stripe. You will receive a receipt with all the information.

From when is the e-vignette valid after purchase?

The validity period of the e-vignette (as well as the adhesive vignette) extends from December 1st of the previous year to January 31st of the year after next (example: 12/01/24 - 01/31/26). After you have subscribed to our e-vignetten service, your e-vignette will be redeemed within a maximum of 3 days.

Where does autoSense obtain the digital vignettes?

The electronic vignettes are purchased from the official sales outlet of the Federal Customs Administration and Border Security (BAZG).

If I subscribe in the middle of the year, do I only pay half?

Unfortunately not, the digital vignette works exactly the same as the physical one. You always have to pay the full amount, no matter when you redeem the vignette.

I have two cars and an interchangeable license plate - what do I do?

Now you only need to buy one vignette, as the vignette is linked to the license plate. If you have previously redeemed two license plates, you save 40.- CHF per year!

Can I cancel my account?

Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time. Vignettes already purchased for the current calendar year will continue, but will not be renewed. To do this, log in to your subscription account under "Manage My Subscription" and cancel the subscription.

Do I get compensation if my vehicle is taken out of service and the license plate is returned?

As with the adhesive vignette, there is no refund for the e-vignette after a purchase within the same year. Please cancel your subscription under "Manage My Subscription" if you no longer have a car or have returned the license plate.

I have a new license plate, what do I do?

Please contact support, stating your current license plate number. Support: Link Support

We charge an additional fee of CHF 5.- for the subscription service on top of the regular price of a vignette, which is CHF 40.-. Thus, you pay CHF 45.- per year.
